Digital Engagement for Everyone is a practical educational guide designed to help people interact with increasingly capable AI systems with greater clarity, awareness, balance, and personal agency.

Developed from the Ethical Digital Collaboration (EDC) framework at Starchild Labs, the guide introduces practical principles for engagement readiness, communication, boundaries, time awareness, self-regulation, and responsible integration of digital interaction into everyday life.

The guide is written for individuals, educators, students, libraries, nonprofits, educational programs, and organizations seeking a grounded and accessible approach to healthy AI interaction. No technical background is required.

We believe these skills are increasingly important because AI systems are becoming part of how people learn, work, create, communicate, and solve problems, while practical education about how to engage with them intentionally remains limited. Our goal is simple: help people approach these technologies with curiosity and confidence while keeping human judgment, wellbeing, and discernment at the center.
